Photographic architectural study

A real place.
A studied reconstruction.

This Blender and Three.js architectural study follows the white-stone Golitsyn Baroque church at Dubrovitsy: a quatrefoil (tetraconch) plan, raised rusticated stylobate with four staircases, an octagonal three-tier tower, and the distinctive openwork gilded crown with glazed oculi and cross.

Parish and encyclopedia accounts place the exterior height near 42.3 m and describe Swiss and Italian stone carvers among the early-18th-century finishers. Dimensions, repeated ornament, and statue poses in this model are approximate estimates from the reference photograph and published descriptions—not a surveyed twin.

The public tour covers the cruciform nave floor, eastern iconostasis and Passion reliefs, and upper octagon. The sanctuary beyond the screen and the wider estate landscape are not reconstructed in detail.

Credited photographic details supply the carved façades, reliefs, and interior decoration. Their placement, repeated sculpture, and lighting are approximate. The source record identifies the images and crops used in the reconstruction.

Exterior orbit follows the circular plaza, dark lobe roofs, white tower, and gilded crown. Documentary photographs remain available alongside the model for comparison.
